Sele has always enjoyed telling stories but decided to take it seriously after attending the London SuperMeet where Apple’s Final Cut Pro X was launched. He developed his artistic eye through photography before choosing to focus on the moving image. At the London Film Academy, he enhanced his skills in cinematography while masterfully producing several short films. Sele has a first degree in Computer Science and Multimedia.

In 2019, Sele co-founded ‘Hive Film Collective’, aimed at building a network of filmmakers eager to tell stories and improve their craft. In 2020, he launched his podcast, ‘The Naija Filmmaker’ to create conversation around Nigerian filmmakers, their films and craft.

Sele has shot and edited numerous short films. He is inspired by nature, the human mind and seeking fresh perspectives. With this philosophy and a big belief in the refining nature of collaboration, Sele is eager to create engaging and remarkable audiovisual content.

His core interests include narratives(fiction & documentary), commercials and corporate videos. Sele lives in Abuja and is available to travel for work.

He plans to change the world one story at a time and is currently working on his first feature film and a web series.
